White House Stonewalls investigation into Gatecrashers -- and calls it transparency
In another display of significant naivete, the White House is refusing to let the Social Secretary Desiree Rogers testify on the how and why of the incident. The White House has refused, citing the right of staff to have private conversations and provide advice without congressional oversight. Instead, the Secret Service took the blame for the incident.
This stupid award is for "Continuing an otherwise absurd situation well beyond its realistic life by evasion, escape from reality, and practical stupidity."
Congratualtions to our second award winner - The White House.
