The Latest Minihan Novel Announced

Night Chill is the third Minihan-based terror novel, and the last!

 

The last of the Minihan series (at least for now), is coming out officially on June 15th. The book is set in New Orleans, LA and involves a terror plot on a Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) ship, which is to deliver LNG along the Mississippi River Delta.  Will be available after May 28th on Amazon and other major bookstores and online sites. You can order it at : https://www.createspace.com/3836815 , or read the first few chapters at: http://bernieminihan.blogspot.com/

This book is the sequel to Bernie Minihan's Dilemma, published in 2005, and continues the drama that started in Boston and broke up several terrorist cells.  Bernie Minihan returns to Washington DC to start his well-earned vacation, only to find himself in the middle of another plot, this time involving biological terror in Fort Lauderdale.

Minihan is again joined by his FBI associate, Richard Peabody, and they travel to Cairo, and eventually to Russia and the former Soviet Republics seeking information that will help them stop the crimes of terror occuring in Fort Lauderdale.  The book has action, surprises, and romance, all mixed togther to provide a compelling story that you will want to read in one sitting.

The foreward to this volume is by Vin Weber, former member of Congress (R-MN), and a noted advisor to presidents, consultant and commentator on national affiars.

This new volume, to be published in March, 2007, is a follow-on to the highly successful Bernie Minihan's Dilemma, and takes Bernie Minihan to new investigations, this time starting in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.  A particularly toxic strain of smallpox has been released in that city, and its origins, and how it got there are major causes of concern to both the local and Federal investigators.

Action scenes in this new work cover the globe, with Bernie and his FBI associate Richard Peabody traveling to Cairo, Uzbekistan, and eventually Moscow and Germany in their investigations.

Since the 9-11 attacks, terrorism is seldom out of the mind of most Americans.  This novel is about potential threat- -in this case about a potential threat to Boston, Massachusetts.  It could be about any American city.  Bernie Minihan is a CIA field officer, and a member of the Interagency Terrorism Task Force.  From his post in Lisbon, he keeps his eyes and ears tuned to potential problems for the US.  His intuition tells him that problems occuring in Turkey and the Middle East are related to other information on a potential threat against an east coast US City.

Little does he know, as he starts to dig out information on the threat, that it involves his own home town, and people that he knows well.
